South Africans are bracing themselves for more snow and cold weather, during this coming week.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) shared a Satellite image on Sunday, showing a cold front approaching from the south west, and snow over the escarpments of the Eastern Cape and Lesotho.

While most areas are expected to be chilly, the interior of the Western Cape and the Namakwa District of the Northern Cape, are expected to have very cold conditions with maximum temperatures of 10°C, as from Wednesday, the 18th June 2025, into Saturday.
