Kwazi Mabaso is the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Grindrod Limited, following his tenure as head of Grindrod’s Terminals division.
Mabaso was announced on Monday.
He has more than 20 years of experience across the mining and logistics sectors, and is expected to bring extensive leadership expertise and his understanding of African markets.
Before joining Grindrod in 2023, he spent a decade at Transnet, leading major operations such as the Richards Bay Terminals, NATCOR, and the Durban Container Terminal.
Before that, he was at Goldfields Limited, and also held positions at ABI.
