The second Bid Window for infrastructure projects is officially opened.

Infrastructure South Africa announced on Friday, that projects in the energy sector would  be prioritized, along with those in water and sanitation, transport, municipal infrastructure and industrial development zones. 

Applicants of the project preparation support, are Government departments, state entities and municipalities.

Tsakane Mabale of Infrastructure SA, said in a statement on Friday, projects submitted should be in line with the country’s Investment Plan 2050, and be +R1 billion.

Mabale also said the projects would undergo stages of the appraisal and approval process, similar to the first bid window.
