The Weather Service (SAWS) has warned against additional heavy rains at Level 2, over the western and central Limpopo as well as the northern Highveld and escarpment of Mpumalanga.
This includes areas affected by recent floods such as Waterberg, Mopani, Sekhukhune District, Witbank, Middleburg, Secunda, Standerton, Ermelo and Dullstroom.
Similar but lesser conditions are expected over Inxuba Yethemba and Enoch Mgijima Local Municipalities of the Eastern Cape.
A Heat Wave is expected over Chris Hani, Joe Gqabi and northern parts of Alfred Nzo Districts Municipalities in the Eastern Cape, until Wednesday.
