Boikie Monareng, has pushed his wheelbarrow from Musina to Cape Town, since the 11th of November 2025.
In a bid to raise funds for school uniforms and township sports development, Monareng pushed the wheelbarrow and is expected to cycle back to Musina.
He rested during the festive season, to curb traffic.
In total, he is expected to have walked and cycled over 3,600 kilometres, setting a new record.
Monareng said as a victim of bullying, he opted to cover 2900 km of his campaign, to raise alarm against bullying.
He also said “now that the wheelbarrow journey is officially over. I would like to take this opportunity and the community for the support you have shown. To all individuals and companies who supported this, you are much appreciated. Honestly, this was not going to be possible without your support and prayers. God bless you.”
