Motorists are urged to proceed with caution on main roads in East London on Wednesday, or use alternative routes, where possible.
This is ahead of the EFF march and court appearance at the KuGompo City Magistrates’ Court on both Wednesday and Thursday this week.
The Buffalo City Municipality announced buses carrying EFF supporters will be parked and stationed at Jan Smuts Stadium for Tuesday evening’s night vigil.
The march is expected to start at the Jan Smuts stadium to kuGompo City Magistrate Court using the following route:
* Exit the Stadium and turn left into * Recreational Road
* Right into Commercial Road
* Left into Cambridge Street
* Cross Fleet Street
* Right into Commissioner Road
* End up in front of the KuGompo City Magistrates court
The City said as a result, these roads will be closed: Buffalo and Fleet, Church and Buffalo and Oxford and Commissioner.
