Two people were killed by floods at the Grand Canyon National Park.
Park authorities said 15 people are missing.
The body of a 46-year-old male, was recovered near Crystal Rapids along the Colorado River.
Floods caused significant damage, including the Park’s waterline, leaving very limited reserves.
As a result, the Grand Canyon National Park implemented Stage 4 water restrictions on the South Rim on Monday afternoon, following significant flooding along Bright Angel Canyon since Saturday.
All park concession overnight accommodation units are closed as from Monday evening, including El Tovar, Bright Angel Lodge, Maswik Lodge, Phantom Ranch, Yavapai Lodge and Trailer Village.
Hotels in Tusayan are not affected.
The park also remains open to day visitors.
