This is the third year that both the Chelsea Flower show and Stanford Bloom, are held back to back, from the 12 – 27 September 2026.
Leon Kluge, South Africa’s landscape designer and his team, winners of Gold and the ‘Best Exhibit in the Great Pavillion’ will be showcasing “Life After Fire.”
It showcases the diversity of South African flowers after a fire.
Artist Tristan Woudberg, led a team to assemble about 20,000 stems of Protea cut flowers as well as burnt branches to create a post fire landscape.
Speaking to his followers on social media Kluge said on Saturday “the ‘After the fire’ at Stanford in Bloom is officially open and even in its third year, it still feels overwhelming to witness the incredible support that the Stanford community recieves from people from all corners that visit our flower installation. It remains a special day in my life to have the support and conversations with everyone that shares their passion for our beautiful flora. Looking forward to greeting everyone over the next 2 weeks.“
