Firefighting crews from Mamelodi and Silverton stations are dousing a fire which broke out at the Watloo Substation, in Pretoria.
They have a Rapid Response Vehicle with them, as well as a foam tanker and a water tanker.
The City of Tshwane’s electricity and energy technicians are on site to try and assess and manage the incident.
Both the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage caused by the fire, are still unknown.
