The Tshwane Metro Police Department in Mamelodi, arrested a man believed to have stolen electricity cables, at the City of Tshwane’s Waltloo Electricity Depot.
The police were conducting overnight patrolling duties, when they noticed suspicious activity inside the Waltloo Electricity Depot.
Upon investigation, they found the man, in possession of electricity cables.
Yolande YCR Faro, Chief of Police at the Tshwane Metropolitan Police Department (TMPD), commended the officers involved for their hard work and urged the public to report any suspicious activities related to tampering with municipal infrastructure to the police.
