A cloud outage this week Monday, disrupted the internet, and related online services, including social media.
Amazon said this was fixed on Monday evening, and that the breakdown was sparked by an issue related to its domain name, “which converts web into IP addresses.”
Today, Amazon announced an expansion of its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver transformative digital services to the public sector, the military and other security organisations.
Rebecca Harris, secretary of the Louisiana Department of Children and Families Services (DCFS) said the services would be brought in collaboration with Accenture and AWS, as well as the DCFS, in an effort to enhance case management, data sharing and communication with citizens.
