Laguna beach was temporarily closed on Thursday, due to poor water quality.
Dr Simphiwe Ndlovu, Director of Recreation and Parks, said the beach will remain closed until test results show compliance.
“Beach water quality samples are taken weekly, and results are shared with the public as soon as they become available” he said.
About 22 beaches across the City remain open and declared safe for swimming and recreational activities.
