Two days ago, Miller was one of a few people who refused to evacuate his home, despite evacuation orders issued by officials, against a fierce Hurricane.
He said he built his house to be able to cope with Hurricanes.
But 3 Million people were affected by Hurricane Milton.
This emerged on Friday morning, as mop up operations started and rescue teams deployed to provide essential services.
Hurricane Milton brought along strong winds, tornadoes, and widespread damage near Sarasota, Florida.
Multiple deaths were confirmed in St. Lucie County due to tornadoes.
Wind gusts reached up to 107 mph, with severe flooding and damage reported in several areas, including Madeira Beach and Tropicana Field.
The American Medical Response’s FEMA contract, Princeton Rescue Squad has deployed Paramedics and EMTs to provide essential emergency medical support in response to Hurricane Milton.
The Florida Division of Emergency Management is assisting those impacted.
