Johannesburg Water has urged residents to store enough water, ahead of next week’s maintenance of the Eikenhof and Zwartkopjes.
Maintenance kicks off on the 30 June until 2 July 2025.
During this Rand Water teams are planning to repair and replace pipes and valves.
Nombuso Shabalala, Spokesperson of Johannesburg Water, said affected areas Forest Hill Tower, Berea Reservoir, Parktown Reservoir, Crown Gardens Reservoir, Eagles Nest Reservoir, Alan Manor, Naturena Reservoir, Hector Norris Pump Station, Commando System (Hursthill, Brixton & Crosby), Lenasia Systems, Randburg/Roodepoort Systems, Soweto Systems, Aeroton Reservoir, Crown Gardens Reservoir, Eagles Nest Reservoir.
She also said affected systems may take several days to recover.
