Four firefighters were injured, including a Pastor, as several fires rage on in Oklahoma, in the United States.

About 700 people were evacuated in Tyrone, a small town in Oklahoma.

As a result, Governor Kevin Stitt, declared a State of Emergency for Beaver, Texas, and Woodward counties.

The United States Department of Emergency Management, said one of the fires, known as the “side road fire” started after a seven vehicle crash on the Highway 54.

Another fire known as “the Ranger Road Fire” has burnt more than 145,000 acres across the Oklahoma-Kansas border.

Stevens Fire (Texas County) has burnt 5,000 acres, Side Road Fire (Texas County) about 3,300 acres and the 43 Road Fire (Woodward County), another 2,000 acres.

Oklahoma Forestry Services are on site, to be joined by two more teams, to the Beaver County.
