The Global Credit Ratings Agency (GCR), announced the appointment of Richard O. Wilson Jr. as an Independent Non- Executive Director to the Board in South Africa.
In his new role, together with GCR Rating’s existing Independent Non-Executive Directors Faith Khanyile; Chairperson and Yolanda Miya, Richard will oversee Governance, Risk and Compliance.
GCR said Richard has an impeccable track record of over 40 years of experience in the global financial and credit rating sectors, gained in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.

Moody’s Corporation (NYSE: MCO) acquired a 100% stake in GCR in July 2024.
