At least 60 people were killed and 150 injured in an earthquake in the Philippines, on Tuesday, close to Cebu.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) said it was measured at 6,9, but there were at least five additional aftershocks.

The last shock was felt about 9 hours ago, measured at 4,75, about 10 kilometres from Basco, Cagayan Valley.

Other shocks  on the same day, were in Paypay (4,7), Borbon (5,1), Tabanok (4,8), Nailong (4,7) and Calape (4,6).

A day before, on Monday, there were at least 4 more, mostly measured at 5 -in Calape, Damalog, Guadelupe and Libertad.

K9 dogs from the Philippines Coast Guard in Manila, arrived in Bogo City (Cebu) to help with search and rescue efforts.
