Over 100 warnings were issued in the United Kingdom (UK) for this week.
Meteorologists have warned against heavy downpours over London and southern England, and parts of Wales.
This is in addition to about a hundred flood warnings across the South, South West, the East and West Midlands.
The Met Office in the UK, announced an upgrade of systems to ensure new science delivers clearer, more accurate and more intuitive forecasts. This is expected to make data easier to interpret.
Tom Morgan, Meteorologist at the Met Office, said winds are coming in from a south-easterly direction, so it comes on to coasts that were previously affected by recent storms.
Portugal
Floods as a result of Storm Kristin, have killed five people.
Another three were killed by Storm Leornado last week.
Firefighters in Salvaterra de Magos, have saved close to 200 animals on various islands around the Tejo River.
The animals were identified through an aerial reconnaissance flight.
Animals rescued and fed are cattle, donkeys and horses, who were found on several islands near Benavente, Cartaxo, Azambuja and Salvaterra de Magos, in the district of Santarém.
