Most roads were open in Swellendam, except the Bainskloof Pass, where a bridge collapsed, during heavy rains.
Several other roads in the area, are accessible to light vehicles.
The R101 from N1 at Rainbow farms is closed to heavy motor vehicles, as well as the R43, from Worcester to Wolseley and the Nuwekloof Pass.
The N1 is open at De Wet bridge, so is the Old Du Toitskloof pass and the R60 between Worcester and Robertson.
The Nekkies Bridge is also open, although traffic can only go to Rawsonville town, due to flood damage at the Smalblaar Bridge.
Power supply remains off due to damaged high and low-voltage lines on the municipal network, in Swellendam.
This is the case at at least 50 areas, of the town.
