The Northern Cape Department of Roads and Public Works closed several roads, following floods this week.
The Department urged all road users to exercise extreme caution on roads across the Namakwa District.
Closed roads include the DR2276 Oorlogskloof to Niewoudtville, the MR542/R364 from Calvinia to the Western Cape border, the Leiliekrans to Middelpos (DR2274), from Oukloof to Beaufort West (MR854), Calvinia to Sutherland (MR567), Roodewerf to Tankwa National Park as well as the R355 from Swellendam Farm to Kookfontein.
