Venezuela’s authorities confirmed the number of those killed during twin earthquakes in June, has exceeded 5,069.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said seven states were affected, with the most damage at La Guaira.
There were at least 942 aftershocks, following twin earthquakes which struck north-central Venezuela, near Caracas on June 24.
More than 16,000 people lost their homes and about 190 buildings collapsed.
About 3,360 were injured, while more than 172, were trapped.
The states of Caracas, La Guaira and Miranda were declared disaster zones.
There families line up for water and food in the scorching heat.
This is due to a national water system has caved in, across seven states.
The International Rescue Committee says international crews continue to extract survivors from the rubble.
Nicole Kast, IRC Venezuela Country Director, said children are worst affected.
“Children are not sleeping. Every aftershock sends collective panic through the shelters, and the psychological toll of that will last long after the rubble is cleared.”
