A cut-off low pressure system is expected to drive cold, wet and windy conditions, to the Western and Northern Cape, as from Thursday.
Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 10 Degrees Celsius.
As a result, the South African Weather Service (SAWS) warned against heavy downpours over the Overberg district, the Garden Route, on Thursday.
Damaging winds are expected over the Namakwa district, the Winelands, Alexander Bay to Plettenberg Bay, Central Karoo and Little Karoo.
There is also a possibility of snowfall over Drakensberg mountains of the Eastern Cape, on Friday.
