The South African National Energy Development Institute (SANEDI), will hold a Women in Green Hydrogen Luncheon, on Monday, at the Century City Conference Centre in Cape Town, ahead of the fourth annual Africa Green Hydrogen Summit (AGHS), which kicks off on Tuesday into Wednesday.
Nonkosi Koranteng, Deputy Board Chairperson of SANEDI, Lethabo Manamela, the CFO and Faith Mkhacwa, the General Manager of Energy Efficiency & Demand Side Management, will lead a panel discussion, titled “Turning Commitments into Impact: How Industry, Government and Development Partners Can Accelerate Women’s Participation in the Green Energy Transition.”
Then stakeholders officially summit at the Century City Conference Centre in Cape Town, to discuss the role of green hydrogen in supporting innovation, investment and Africa’s transition towards a sustainable energy future.
High-level government officials, international investors, energy experts, industry leaders, and policymakers, will attend.
The JET Skills Desk also announced that Mamphokhu Khuluvhe, will be moderating a skills session, themed “Building Green Hydrogen Skills Ecosystems: From National Strategy to Regional Implementation,” to explore how green hydrogen investments can build skills, industries, and opportunities for African communities.
The three Cape provinces (Eastern, Northern and Western) will also collectively showcase South Africa’s potential to become a globally competitive green hydrogen and green industrialisation hub.
