Johannesburg Water (JW) confirmed the restoration of a power outage, affecting Eikenhof and Zwartkopjes.
JW said related systems may take time to recover, including the Commando, Soweto, Randburg/ Roodepoort, Lenasia, Deep South, Central and South Hills.
Critically low reservoirs are in Lawley, Blairgowrie, Waterval Tower, Crowns Gardens, Yeoville, Brixton 1 Tower, Heldekruin reservoir and tower as well as Constantia.
This is despite a burst pipe at the corner of Falcon and Freedom Drive, at Rabie Ridge.
The entity’s communications department said in an update on Monday, its technical team is awaiting a replacement pump, to complete repairs there.
