Authorities in the Eastern Cape are still assessing the extent of floods, since Tuesday.
The floods claimed one person at Ngobozana village in Lusikisiki.
There are reports and videos on social media illustrating damage to bridges and roads in Mqanduli, Ngqeleni -Bantingville, Cofimvaba, Bedlane bridge, Tsolo and Libode.
Several homes were filled with water, especially in low lying areas.
