Fly Safair 737-800 was damaged by ground equipment at the Cape Town International Airport on Easter Monday.
The Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) confirmed the incident.
ACSA said airport response teams responded swiftly.
Flights were suspended for a few hours, but operations at the airport remained unaffected.
