Amorim Cork South Africa, a subsidiary of the Portuguese global cork leader, Corticeira Amorim in South Africa, was awarded the “International Business of the Year” this week.
This was at the Absa Business Excellence Awards 2024, hosted by the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in South Africa.
Joaquim Sa, Managing Director of Amorim Cork South Africa, said “the purpose of Amorim Cork South Africa is to continue to be a sustainable partner of the wine industry, respecting the values of Corticeira Amorim as a global player and contributing to the preservation of the cork oak forest in Portugal”.
The award recognizes the capacity for innovation, adaptation and resilience that characterize Corticeira Amorim’s global outlook.
