A satellite image indicates another intense frontal depression (accompanied by an upper air COL) and storms is in South of SA.
A cold front of this system arrived in the South Western Cape on Monday afternoon.
It is expected to bring light to moderate rain to the south-western and southern parts of SA from Monday until Wednesday this week.
Strong to severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours, hail, excessive lightning and damaging winds are expected in the south-eastern and eastern SA (southern FS, EC and KZN) on Tuesday.
Damaging thunderstorms with heavy downpours, hail, excessive lightning and damaging winds is also expected in parts of Limpopo, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Eastern parts of the North West, Eastern parts of the Free State, KZN, eSwatini and southern Mozambique on Wednesday into Thursday morning.
