Johannesburg Water said its teams are busy with unplanned maintenance at 4th Road and M1, in Killarney.
Teams are repairing a burst pipe which has left parts of Jhb North without water.
Areas affected are Houghton, Orange Grove, Abbotsford, Killarney, Saxonworld, Parkwood, Rosebank, Dunkeld, Parktown North, Birdhaven, Athol Oakland Parkview, Forest Town, Hyde Park, Dunkeld West, Riviera, Illovo and Parkhurst.
Water supply is expected to be restored around 6pm on Monday evening.
