A corpse was surrounded by angry commuters behind Newtown, Johannesburg, on Wednesday morning.
A crowd of angry commuters stood around the man, while a long- distance luxury bus was on fire.
It is not clear who set the bus on fire, or who killed the man, but police were visible in uniform, trying to push commuters to one side.
A distressed woman meant to be travelling to Zimbabwe said “how are we going to get home on time, before the rush season?”
Goods suspected to belong to commuters are on the ground, including food, water and blankets.
It is not clear as yet, how many people were injured or have died as a result of the incident.
