The South African Weather Service (SAWEA) issued a level 5 warning for Plettenberg Bay and Port Edward. Disruptive winds and waves are expected in that part of the country.
“Damaging winds resulting in problems for high-sided vehicles on prone routes and localised damage to settlements, and temporary structures is expected over the southern parts of the Eastern Cape” according to the SAWS alert.
Similar to Gauteng, Cape Town weather remains cold with a maximum in lower teens. The weather is expected to remain this way for the rest of the week.
