Dr Jane Goodall, environmental advocate and the UN Messenger of Peace and Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute, passed away, on Wednesday morning.

Goodall died at 91, from natural causes.

She was in California as part of her speaking tour in the United States, using her voice to advocate for urgency in dealing with climate change.

She raised awareness about the protection of wildlife in war-torn areas.

Just this last Sunday, on World Peace Day, Goodall said “there can never be world peace until we learn to live in harmony with nature as well as with each other.
Think beyond conflict.Think to the world we all would love to live in.”

She was a primatologist and conservationist, for over 60 years.
