Several reservoirs are critically low, following Rand Water’s maintenance, on Friday.
As a result, there is currently no water in several systems, including Crown Gardens, Yeoville, Eagles Nest, South Hills, Heldekruin, Florida North, Constantia, Horizon, Kensington, Honeydew, Waterval Quellerina, Doornkop, Braamfischer, Meadowlands, Orlando East, Ennerdale and Lenasia.
The City of Tshwane also reported unforeseen delays which hampered water supply to at least five areas West of Pretoria.
The City said a leak developed at one of the connection points closer to the SAPS chambers, just after its teams completed the installation of valves.
Affected areas are Kwaggasrand, Pretoria West Industrial, Proclamation Hill, SAPS Academy and West Park.
