A fire above the Old Pass (Du Toit’s Kloof), is burning on privately owned land.
The Cape Winelands District Municipality’s (CWDM) Fire Services confirmed 10 vehicles and crew, were deployed to the scene.
The Municipality also said the crew is using water hoses, and are supported by two choppers.
The ‘old tunnel or old pass’ is also temporarily closed to all traffic.
This is due to an unrelated incident involving two trucks.
