Eskom announced an interruption to electricity to Meadowlands Zones 6 – 12 tomorrow from 09am – 6pm, due to maintenance to be conducted on the distribution network.
In a notice to residents, Eskom said the maintenance will be conducted on distribution power lines.
Elsewhere in Gauteng, load reduction kicks off today, between 5pm – 9pm.
Eskom said in a statement, there is continued pressure on transformers due to illegal connections and theft in areas of Emfuleni, Evaton, Lakeside, Palm Springs, Diepkloof Zones 1 – 6, Orlando East, Nomzamo, Spruitview, Spruitview B and Spruitview Extension 1B.
