3 firefighters were injured, in a bridge fire in California.

The Fire has burnt approximately 54,000 acres, since it started, on September 08th 2024, according to the United Nations Risk Reduction and Reconstruction Fund.

About 54 structures, were also destroyed, as the fire swept through Southern California.

Authorities said the fire is 9% contained, and an active fire line is on the northwest flank.

Areas around Mt. Baldy and Wright wood, have received evacuation orders.

Elsewhere in North Carolina, historic heavy rains have triggered a State of Emergency.

There is severe flooding in Carolina Beach, North Carolina, and most of the town, received over 18 inches of rain since midnight on Monday.

Lynn Barbee, Mayor of the area, has urged residents to stay indoors, as emergency services struggled to keep up with rescue calls.
