Four beaches are closed in the South of eThekwini, due to high counts of EColi.
The City has had to close the non-compliant beaches, on Thursday, including Reunion, Pipeline, Toti and Doonside beaches.
Toti had 3255 counts, while Doonside (1086), Pipeline (633) and Reunion (15,531).
Beach water quality measured at more than 500 Colony Forming Units (CFU), is regarded as poor.
