The Gauteng Department of Environment won the Best Stand Award at the Rand Easter Show, on Sunday.
Themed “the Future is Curious. The Future is Aware. The Future is HERE” the stand is at the Rand Show’s Hall 5.
It addresses urgent issues of concern including waste management, climate change, air quality, and recycling.
The Department said via social networks “we are equipping the next generation with the knowledge to protect and sustain our environment.
We are engaging with young minds who are eager to learn, ask questions, and be part of the solution.”
