Planned maintenance on the Mandeni System, scheduled for Wednesday this week, is expected to disrupt water supply to several areas.
As a result, uMngeni-uThukela Water Board said the Lower Thukela Water Treatment Works will experience a shutdown from 8am until 4pm.
The water utility said it would use the opportunity presented by the shutdown, to undertake its own repairs on the Lower Thukela Gravity pipeline.
This will result in interrupted supply to Sakhamkhanya, San Souci, Shekembula, Ohlange, Mdlebeni, Lindelani, Shakaville, Zamani, Darnall, Zinkwazi, Blythedale, Stanger Manor, Warrenton, Doesburg, KwaDukuza Central Business District, Glenhills, Nyoniyamanzi Lot 16, and Gledhow North.
