A few earthquakes struck the Phillipines on Wednesday.
The first hefty one measured at M6.0, struck Moro Gulf in southwestern Mindanao at a depth of 35 km, at around 01:05am.
This raised concerns about possible aftershocks, but there were no casualties reported.
Aftershocks followed within an hour, measured at 5.1, 5.7, and 5.6.
According to the Phillipines Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the country can have anything between 20 and 30 earthquakes a day.
