In excess of 120 homes were destroyed by wildfires in southern Georgia, in America.
Two fires destroyed some 40,000 acres of land, due to dry conditions and strong winds.
The most destructive have been the Brantley Highway 82 Fire and the Pineland Road Fire.
Authorities have warned against 150 other new fires in Georgia and Florida.
As a result, Governor Brian Kent, declared a state of emergency for Georgia wildfires.
Kent said in a press briefing yesterday, the Highway 82 and the Pineland Road Fires were ranked numbers 1 and 2 in the country, as the biggest and most dangerous.
The Glynn County Board of Commissioners issued a voluntary evacuation advisory, on Saturday evening, for residents within the following areas: Alpine Road, Gilley Road, Boones Branch Road, Sallie Cline Road, Mauney Street, Chelsea Circle, Post Road north of Highway 82 and Old Post Road north of Highway 32.
