The Kanoneiland Bridge, outside Upington, is currently closed due to flooding caused by rising water levels of the Orange River.
As a result, the Department of Roads and Public Works in the Northern Cape, has advised all road users to avoid the road connecting the N14 and R359.
Motorists are urged to use alternative routes via Keimoes and Upington until further notice.
