Mulilo Renewable Energy confirmed this week, it now has 420 Megawatts (MW) amounting to about six operational renewable energy projects.

An additional 667 MW is under construction. 

The company’s first  Solar PV De Aar, came into operation in July 2014.

It is a 10 MW Solar PV project located in the Northern Cape.  

Other projects also in the Northern Cape, are the 75MW Solar PV project, in Copperton, Longyuan De Aar 2 North.

There are also 3 battery storage systems (BESS) projects with a capacity of 257MW/1,028MWh- the Oasis Aggeneis, Oasis Mookodi and Oasis Nieuwehoop.

In addition, Mulilo signed a Power Purchase Agreement with TotalEnergies and Sasol , to supply about 260MW of renewable energy, about 140MW of this is wind energy and the rest, solar.
