Residents of Hammanskraal will not have drinking water from the Klipdrift Package Plant as indicated back in October 2024.
In a joint statement, the City of Tshwane, Magalies Water, Office of the Premier and the Department of Water and Sanitation, said although the first phase of the Klipdrift Plant was completed, the system has a challenge of turbidity.
The City and Magalies Water continue to flush out the system, and to monitor water quality in the system.
Areas affected are Mandela Village, Marokolong, Ramotse, Kekana Gardens and Babelegi Industrial.
