Over a million people were evacuated in eastern China, by authorities.

Typhoon Dolphin arrived as expected in China’s Hubei province.

Some reports suggest Dolphin was the strongest storm of the year near Yuhuan in Zhejiang province, with wind speed of up to 151 km/h.

As a result, some 1,500 flights had to be  cancelled in Shanghai.

In addition, eight people were killed by Typhoon Dolphin, since Sunday evening .

Twenty six were injured, while ten people, were reported missing.

In Japan, 5 were reported dead, 11 missing, over 90 people were injured in Tokyo.
