Authorities in eThekwini Municipality are expected to conduct an oversight visit to the Southern Aqueduct project, on Wednesday this week.
Cyril Xaba, the Mayor of eThekwini, is expected to lead the assessment of the progress of the construction of the Southern Aqueduct.
The Southern Aqueduct is a R1,2 billion project, which aims to meet the growing water demand in the South of the City as well as parts of the central area in eThekwini, including supply in Umlazi, Queensburgh, Chatsworth and surrounding areas.
