A veldfire in Tshwane, close to the Agricultural Research Council (ARC), may have tripped a 132 KV substation.
This has led to an electricity outage in Highveld, Centurion Golf Estate, Eco-Park, Technopark, Louwlardia, BylsBridge, the Agricultural Research Council (ARC), Licence Testing Centre, South Downs, and adjacent areas.
In an update to residents on Sunday evening, Tshwane Municipality said although restoration time is unknown, switching is already underway on-site at Kentron substation.
