The Tshwane Municipality, has introduced interventions to cope with decreased water storage.
The City said in a statement that due to water storage decrease by 30%, it is going ahead with the implementation of interventions.
It is closing inlets at Heights HL, Garsfontein and Kasia. In addition, it will restrict water access to Klapperkop.
Themba Fosi, Mayoral Committee Member, for Utility Services and Regional Operation and Coordination, said no suburbs in Tshwane were affected by these interventions, either than those mentioned.
Rand Water said 3 days ago that its storage levels are fairly low.
The water Utility said the lower the storage, the bigger the risk of water supply.
