The R365 road from Leipoldtville to Lambertsbay is flooded.
The Cedeberg Municipality announced the closure of the private road, following heavy rains on Monday.
The Municipality said the road is full of sand and therefore inaccessible.
Motorists are advised to take a detour via Leipoldtville and also reduce speed.
