The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned against thunderstorms and strong wind, this weekend, for most parts of South Africa.
These conditions are expected from Saturday, 15 November into Monday, 17 November 2025.
SAWS said heavy rain could risk flooding in some areas, damaging winds, large hail and intense lightning.
Affected areas are the North West, Free State, Eastern parts of the Eastern Cape and Northern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal (Saturday), Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, and KwaZulu-Natal (from Sunday into Monday).
